Intimate Playa del Carmen Wedding
In the midst of Minnesota’s winters, there’s nothing quite like escaping to the warmth of Mexico. For Tara and Preston, Mexico provided the perfect backdrop for their intimate wedding.
When I think of a perfect venue, I think of something that makes the couple come alive. The perfect venue isn’t cookie cutter, it’s unique to the couple – the perfect place for the people celebrating in it. The Paradisus La Perla in Playa del Carmen was definitely perfect for Tara and Preston. The natural beauty for daytime leisure and the night life for an evening party was perfect for them and their favorite people.
Having initially crossed paths in high school, it wasn’t until college that their connection truly formed. From there, their bond only grew stronger, leading them to this beautiful moment of saying “I do.”

Tara + Preston started off their Mexico festivities with a late night celebration the day before the wedding on site at Paradisus La Perla.
Their wedding day was all in one place – on the resort property – from the hotel getting ready, to the first looks just outside, to the ocean beach ceremony, to the reception that bounced from nestled in the middle of the resort to partying at the on-site bars. Their wedding was one for the books!
