Dance portraiture is one of our favorite things at Rachel DesJardins Photography! Studios bring us out to document competition, show, and yearly dance portraits. We host you in our photography studio on Main St in Stillwater and dance families can enjoy what Stillwater has to offer after their photos are done!
We are located in Stillwater at 402 Main St N on the 3rd floor in the Isaac Staple Sawmill building on the North end of Stillwater's downtown. We are in the same building as Victoriano's pizza (a good snack for after your photos are done) and The Goodery (fresh-pressed juices) on your way to pizza!
Dance portraiture doesn't cost the studio anything. Families pay for their dancer's photos individually and that is how we make our money. Families can expect to pay anywhere from $10 to $120 for their dancer's photos depending on if they want one singular small photo or the full digital download for their dancer.
You take care of most of the front end communication. That includes communicating with your dance families about the day, time, location, but we give you materials and information to make that easy!
We take care of communication post-photo-day. To do this, we require a list of students, parents, emails, and classes from you so we can communicate when photos are ready to order, purchase process, and last day to place an order.
Your involvement in the process is simple. You will create the photo timeline, communicate with your dancers up to photo day about photo-day details (we will provide all of thsi for you, you just need to pass it on). We need a list of your dancers and their identifier (the role in the show or the class they are in), their parent's name, and email. This is for ordering. We also ask you to be present to help with posing, costume questions, and the general flow of your dancers through their photo timeslot.
With your studio portrait event, you get an 8x10 to hang in your lobby of each of the dance group photos, updated digital images of your staff for free, and happy dance families.
